Job purpose

Love working with your hands and being around equipment? As a Landscape Equipment Technician, you’ll be right in the action—supporting mechanics by helping keep our vehicles and machinery running smoothly. From changing fluids and swapping out parts to organizing tools and keeping the workspace in top shape, no two days are the same.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a knack for mechanics, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. If you’re dependable, eager to learn, and ready to be part of a team that keeps things moving, you’ll fit right in.

    • Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing leaves/debris from lawns and walkways.

    • Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and garden beds.

    • Assist with the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fences.

    • Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools.

    • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed while following safety and environmental guidelines.

    • Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning.

    • Communicate with clients to understand their landscape preferences and provide excellent customer service.

    • Ensure job sites are clean and safe, following all company safety protocols.

    • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

    • Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance (preferred but not required).

    • Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.

    • Knowledge of plant care, gardening, and landscape design (a plus).

    • Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

    • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.

    • Reliable and punctual with good work ethics.

    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
