Job purpose

The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for installing, maintaining, and enhancing landscapes to ensure high-quality outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This role includes tasks such as planting, mulching, sod installation, pruning, hardscaping, and general landscape maintenance. The position requires working efficiently as part of a team, operating landscaping equipment safely, and following company standards to complete projects on time. A strong attention to detail, physical endurance, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction are essential.

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing leaves/debris from lawns and walkways.
- Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and garden beds.
- Assist with the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fences.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed while following safety and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning.
- Communicate with clients to understand their landscape preferences and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure job sites are clean and safe, following all company safety protocols.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance (preferred but not required).
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of plant care, gardening, and landscape design (a plus).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Reliable and punctual with good work ethics.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
